This weekend I’m packing my bags. I’ll get to enjoy a fresh, clean and beautiful countryside in a small village for a few days, and meet some relatives. Something I’m really looking forward to is finally getting to hoop dance outside!
When you go out there to shoot, you often have a certain place in mind to take photos of but then sometimes things and plans change. Someone calls you or tips you about something you may want to see. Sometimes you just grab the camera and go, following the heart of the moment. Thinking back, there are lots of times I ended up shooting something I wasn’t even planning to.
One such incident took place last summer. I was woken in middle of the night (precisely 3:05 AM) and was told to grab my camera as fast as I could and go out to take photos “because the sky is on fire”.
Apparently you can get a nice photo even half-asleep.
